Background of the appointment
wevnal operates the BX platform “BOTCHAN,” which delivers value by enhancing brand experience with the aim of maximizing LTV for both consumers and enterprises.
Through each funnel that serves as a touchpoint with consumers, “BOTCHAN” contributes to improving corporate brand value by providing a consistent and seamless brand experience.
In addition, by optimizing communication design across multiple channels such as LINE, web, and social media, we have supported the advancement of companies’ marketing and CRM initiatives.
To further expand our business in the field of generative AI and to strengthen our management structure, we have decided to appoint Mr. Yasufumi Hirai, who has extensive management experience and expertise in the domestic and international IT industries, as an outside director.
Mr. Hirai has held core management roles at global companies such as IBM Japan, Ltd., Microsoft Japan Co., Ltd., Cisco Systems G.K., and Rakuten Group, Inc. He currently serves as an executive director of the Japan Association of Corporate Executives (Keizai Doyukai), and as a specially appointed professor at Tokyo College of Music.
Leveraging Mr. Hirai’s expertise and network, we will work together to enhance wevnal’s corporate value and further strengthen its management foundation through the innovation of brand experiences utilizing generative AI.
